Our Founder & Managing Partner
Scott Head, Founder and Managing Partner of Head Capital Partners, has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Mr. Head oversees the day-to-day operations of HCP and is responsible for market evaluation, deal pursuit, underwriting and investment analysis, capital raises, and asset management, among other things.
Mr. Head has extensive experience in the acquisition and disposition of commercial retail assets, leasing retail properties and tenant representation and has closed more than three million square feet of commercial retail transactions in his career. He takes great pride in formulating and executing strategies that maximize the greatest value for each asset.
Prior to founding HCP, Mr. Head was a Shareholder and Managing Partner at Trigild, a national real estate and fiduciary firm whose primary services include receivership services, bankruptcy/trustee services, asset management and property management. While at Trigild, he oversaw the operations of the commercial, hospitality and enterprise divisions with properties located throughout the United States.
Before Trigild, Mr. Head was a founding Principal of P.D. Capital, a private real estate investment firm based in Dallas. During his tenure at P.D. Capital, Mr. Head was responsible for the underwriting, acquisition, asset management and disposition of retail properties throughout Texas. While at P.D. Capital, he acquired and managed more than one million square feet of retail properties.
Mr. Head started his career at Trammell Crow Company and CB Richard Ellis, where he successfully closed a wide array of transactions representing both institutional and local clients that included developers, landlords, tenants, and landowners.
Mr. Head received a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He resides in Dallas, Texas, is very active in his community, enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and is a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas.
